The Korea Basketball Association announced on the 23rd that it had selected and confirmed the final list of 12 national teams to participate in the 2023 International Basketball Federation (FIBA) U16 Asian Women’s Basketball Championship.
This list includes Lim Yeon-seo (Supia Girls’ Middle School), Lee Won-jeong (Onyang Girls’ High School), and Hwang Yun-seo (Mr. Sookmyung Girls’ High School) and others were listed.
The head coach is Huh Man-deok, head coach of Dongju Girls’ High School. The coaching staff consists of Daejeon Girls’ High School coach Lee Ye-na and Masan Girls’ Middle School coach Lee Yu-ri.
The tournament will be held in Amman, Jordan, from July 10th to July 16th. Korea will face off against Syria on the 10th, Taiwan on the 11th, Australia on the 12th, and Thailand on the 13th. The national team is scheduled to start convocation training from the 8th of next month.
