The first female manager in British men’s professional football… Dingley in charge of the 4th division team

For the first time in the history of English men’s professional football, a female coach will lead the team.

Forest Green Rovers of League 2, the 4th division of English professional football, announced on the 5th (Korean time) that Hannah Dingley (Wales) was appointed as acting manager.

Forest Green, who forced Duncan Ferguson to step down on the 4th, handed over the baton to Dingley, who was in charge of the team’s academy coach.해외안전놀이터 추천

Acting manager Dingley, born in 1983, started coaching Notts County Under-9s, also a 4th division team, in 2011, when he was 28 years old, and in 2013, he coached Burton Albion’s academy team, which is in the 3rd division.

From 2016 to 2019 she coached Burton Albion, and from 2019 she moved to Forest Green’s academy.

Acting coach Dingley, who has a UEFA professional license, led a pre-season match against Melksham Town, a semi-professional 8th division team, on the 6th and drew 1-1.

Last month, Premier League side Brentford appointed female coach Lydia Bedford to coach the men’s under-18 team.
